Our history

MAC’s MEDICAL Handels GmbH has been founded in October 1995 by Ante Cicin-Sain and his wife Marion. The main office of this family owned business is in Austria, more precisely in Leopoldsdorf. The correspondent address is in Laxenburg. Both towns are in Lower Austria, south of Vienna.

Since our beginning we expanded our business with offices throughout East Europe and Switzerland, and became the MAC’s MEDICAL Group.

The word MAC stands for Marketing And Consulting, but it could also stand for the initial letters of company’s founders and their daughter: Marion, Ante and Caroline.

What we do

MAC’s MEDICAL Group is a distribution company for medical products, primarily specialized in Circulatory Solutions – with the following program:

• Cardiovascular and pericardium patches
• Vascular grafts, stents and stent-grafts
• Surgical instruments
• Regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy
• Hemostatic clips and agents
• Hernia meshes
• Drainage systems and drains
• Surgical loupes and headlights
• Surgical glues

Our mission

We want to bring innovative treatments for patients by offering high-end solutions for physicians in the Circulatory and Motorical diseases medical area as well as establish a leading position in Regenerative Medicine treatments and solutions by the end of 2013.

We want to be among the top most recognized distribution companies in Central Eastern Europe. One of our strong points is being able to act the fastest in response to a call within our regions. Towards our suppliers we want to be a distribution partner offering high quality solutions in a win-win oriented way based on long term relationship and market development. We also want to develop our own products under our Company’s Name.
